THIS IS ALASKA and I went there!
Take a look at these awesome photos from my trip!
For years I’ve wanted to visit the great state of Alaska. With all of its natural wonders, who doesn’t want to visit Alaska??? Well, apparently most of my family and friends because I never could convince anyone to tag along with me until a last minute family trip to visit my aunt. I overheard my cousin mentioning that she had a business trip to Anchorage. WHAT????? My other cousin, her sister, mentions that she would like to go. WHAT????? SO DO I!!! And so it begins!
We huddled and in a matter of minutes, we’re all planning our trip to Alaska. Since we’re tagging along while she is working, the dates are pretty much set. I was in Alaska at the end of August for a week. After a few weeks of planning, we chose our itinerary. The plan was to drive Turnagain Arm to Seward for a glacier cruise, visit Girdwood and ride the Alyeska Tram, ride the Alaskan Railroad somewhere, visit the wildlife conservation center, and enjoy some of the local food and shopping.
This post would be super long if I tried to cover it all here. So, I’m going to provide a list with links to my write-up of all of our adventures while in Alaska.

- The Alyeska Tram

- Glacier Cruising Out of Seward

This was the best trip ever and so much better than I could have imagined. If you have ever thought about going, do it!
